The living room of campus

The Memorial Union, located at 1331 Market St., serves as the hub of campus and living room for the campus community. Frequented by students, faculty, staff, Emporia community and conference attendees, the Union offers special spaces to quietly relax, study in solitude or with others, watch a little television to ease the day, and meet with friends and colleagues.

There is always something happening on campus! Purchase athletic, theater, music and other university events online or in the Ticket Office.

Hornet ID Card

Grants building access, holds declining balance and is your student ID.


The Hornet ID office is housed in the Memorial Union. Students may get their ID during enrollment. Faculty and Staff may get their Hornet ID with verification of employment.

Barnes & Noble Bookstore

Textbooks, classroom materials, apparel, gifts, accessories and electronics.

The Emporia State University Memorial Union is the community center of the university for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. The Union is a vital part of the educational and social life of the university and the greater Emporia community.
