ESU ALERT: WINTER WEATHER Due to current weather conditions and hazardous road conditions, Emporia State University will be closed on Monday, January 26. All classes, events and on-campus activities are canceled for the day. Only essential personnel who have been previously designated should report to work as directed by their supervisor. Classes are expected to resume as normal on Tuesday, January 27. The University will continue to monitor conditions and will provide additional updates if necessary. Two Teachers Achieve First-Time Certification

Two Kansas educators are among the more than 500 nationwide this year who achieved the highest professional credential they can earn — they attained first-time certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2016.
