On Tuesday, Jan. 3 — the first day the Emporia State University campus is open after the holidays — Beach and Visser halls will be closed to the public so that local law enforcement can use the buildings for training.
Beach Hall houses the Department of Music. Visser Hall is home of The Teachers College. The National Teachers Hall of Fame and University Copy Center are also in Visser.
Also, Market Street between 12th and 13th avenues will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
