Dr. Cathy Grover will be the 2020-21 King Endowed Professor in The Teachers College at Emporia State University.

In its 31st year, and because of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Kansas Future Teacher Academy will be held — just in a different format than in its previous three decades.

Three finalists for the position of dean of The Teachers College at Emporia State University will visit the campus during February. Each candidate’s visit will include a presentation to the campus community and public followed by questions and answers. In addition to these presentations, each candidate will meet with the search committee and administrators, faculty, staff and students as they complete the interview process.

Five alumni of Emporia State are members of the 2020 Kansas Teacher of the Year Team.
