Halloween Donations for Emporia Animal Shelter

The Locard Society of Forensic Science, a student organization at Emporia State, is collecting items for the Emporia Animal Shelter during trick-or-treating on Rural Street. This is the fourth year the group has used the city event to help others.


ESU Theatre Presents ‘Little Women, The Musical’ for Homecoming Show

Emporia State University Theatre presents “Little Women, The Musical” from October 17 to 20, 2019, in the Karl C. Bruder Theatre. Set during the American Civil War, the March sisters — romantic Meg, tomboyish Jo, sweet Beth and irascible Amy — live in Concord, Massachusetts, with their beloved Marmee while Father serves as a Chaplain in the war.


Schneider Receives ESU's Highest Faculty Honor

Patrick Martin Receives Highest ESU Faculty Honor

An art professor who practices what he teaches is the 2017 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor at Emporia State University. Patrick J. Martin learned of the honor during a surprise announcement in his 3D Dimensional Design class on Tuesday afternoon.
