Because of weather, Emporia State University will open at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3. All classes and activities scheduled before that time are cancelled.

Because of inclement weather, the Emporia State University campus will close Wednesday, Feb. 2. All classes are cancelled; this includes both in-person and online classes.

Today, Cory Falldine is being promoted to chief information officer and vice president for infrastructure at ESU. He reports directly to Interim President Ken Hush. Bill McKernan, currently facilities director, is being promoted to executive director of University Facilities.

A familiar face will fill a new position at Emporia State University that is tasked with enrollment growth. Dr. Shelly Gehrke is being promoted to vice president for enrollment management and student success effective today and will report directly to Interim President Ken Hush.
