Winter Commencement Set for Dec. 12

More than 500 students are candidates for degrees during winter commencement at Emporia State University on Saturday, Dec. 12.

Undergraduates will receive their degrees during baccalaureate ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. at White Auditorium, 111 E. Sixth Ave. At 2 p.m., graduate students will be hooded at Albert Taylor Hall in Plumb Hall on the Emporia State campus.

Kansas Regent Zoe Newton of Sedan will give remarks during both ceremonies. Dr. James Persinger, psychology professor and 2015 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor will address the undergraduates.
