What do ugly sweaters, gingerbread cookies and hot cocoa and a jolly guy dressed in red for photographs have in common? They all are part of the first-ever Mingle and Jingle for Emporia State students.
Students are invited to don their ugly sweaters and festive attire and join President Allison Garrett at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, on the Memorial Union deck, which is outside the north entrance by International Education and Career Services.
Refreshments will be provided as well as an opportunity to have photos taken with a jolly guy dressed in red. During an Ugly Sweater Contest, guest judges will select finalists with the crowd selecting the winners. First place receives a $100 gift card to the Memorial Union Bookstore, and second place receives a $50 card.
