ESU Student Groups Plan Halloween Activities for Local Children

Two groups of Emporia State students have planned early trick-or-treating opportunities local children.

On Monday, Oct. 25, the ESU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee presents Trunk or Treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the ESU Recreation Center on the north end of campus.

Admission is free and costumes are encouraged. ESU student-athletes will present donation-based games, hand out candy and provide lots of fun in the family-friendly event.

On Thursday, Oct. 28, ESU Residential Life presents Park and Treat from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. near the Towers Residence Hall complex. Families are asked to park in the Towers Hall Complex parking lot, off 16th Avenue between Highland and Market streets.

Trick-or-treating will happen in Wilson Park, which is immediately north of and adjacent to the parking lot. The event is free.
