International students at Emporia State University have planned a series of activities to celebrate International Education Week. The events culminate on Friday, Nov. 17, with the International Cultural Show.

The show will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 17, in Albert Taylor Hall. Performances will feature song and dance from Japan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tajikistan and Nigeria. Other highlights of the show will include Japanese calligraphy, cultural displays from Ghana and a fashion show featuring designs from Italy, Germany, Laos and Bolivia.

The week kicks off at the Emporia Public Library with a family game night at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13. Attendees can learn native games from ESU international students. Other student events this week include international trivia, yoga, tabling by student organizations and an opportunity to learn Bangladeshi cooking skills.
