Emporia State University’s Department of Nursing will open National Nurses Week with public events on Friday, May 6.
Between 1 and 2 p.m. Friday, the department will host an open house at Cora Miller Hall, 1127 Chestnut St. The event includes guided department tours led by students with both faculty and students available for questions. Students will also host poster presentations, and there will be live simulation demonstrations.
The open house is also part of the department's centennial celebration. National Nurses Week runs from May 6 through 12.
