General Education Assessment Steering Committee

The General Education Assessment Steering Committee (GEAS) serves to ensure that the assessment of the General Education Program is comprehensive, a collaborative effort of the general education faculty, and generates a body of evidence to use for decisions in enhancing the program and its relevancy to educating 21st century graduates. The committee ensures that a continuous leadership effort is dedicated to the assessment of the General Education Program and that the planned details for supporting an across-institution effort remain a priority. The committee membership includes the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Assistant Provost for Institutional Effectiveness, the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and the Director of the General Education Program.
