Just a short report tonight. Everyone arrived safely with only a few minor delays. We are, however, minus one bag, but it should show up tomorrow, and that provided a good excuse to practice some shopping in Serbian — most successful, I understand.
We are just back from a delicious traditional Serbian dinner with four of our librarian colleagues from the American Corner. This gave the students a wonderful opportunity to talk to Serbians and learn more about libraries and life here in general. We are all rather full — a not uncommon occurrence at Serbian meals, as I know from experience.
I think most people have retired to bed to recover from the rigors of travel.
Tomorrow has some optional activities but I think long lies are the order of the day before the activities commence.
All safe and well, if a bit worn out.
