ESU Theatre Presents Sarah DeLappe’s ‘The Wolves’ for Spring Production

Emporia State University Theatre presents Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves” as its first spring 2021 show. Three performances will be live-streamed from the Frederickson Blackbox Theatre via emporia.booktix.com. Performances are at 7:30 p.m Friday, March 5, and Saturday, March 6, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. All times are Central Standard. The production runs 90 minutes.

Six Saturday soccer matches. Six pre-game warmup sessions. Nine young athletes trade barbs and negotiate high school, while celebrating wins and suffering losses. 2017 Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The faculty production team includes Pete Rydberg (Director), Chris Lohkamp (Technical Supervisor), Nancy J. Pontius (Design Supervisor), and Amanda Dura (Costume Shop Manager).
