ESU Campus to Close, Foundation Open During Holiday Break

The Emporia State University Foundation will be open during the last week of the year to accept end-of-year gifts. The rest of campus, however, will be closed between 5:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 and 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.

Foundation staff will be on hand to assist with these and other gifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the break except Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25. The Foundation will also be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Anyone wanting to make a 2019 gift to Emporia State University may deliver the gift in person to 1500 Highland St., by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Checks may be mailed so long as they are postmarked on or before Dec. 31. Credit card gifts may be made online at through Dec. 31.

Although the entire campus re-opens Thursday, Jan. 2, students won’t move back into residence halls until noon Sunday, Jan. 12. Classes for the spring semester begin Tuesday, Jan. 14.
