Game Day Visit Experience

Experience the excitement of a Hornet game day! There's nothing quite like seeing ESU come alive on football Saturdays. From spirited traditions to cheering alongside fellow Hornets, you'll get an unforgettable glimpse of campus life while exploring everything Emporia State has to offer.

During your Game Day Visit Experience, you'll:

• Learn about admissions, financial aid, and scholarships while discovering what it means to become a Hornet.
• Explore campus on a guided tour led by our Admissions staff.
• Join the pre-game tailgate and experience the energy, traditions, and school spirit that make game days so memorable.
• Cheer on the Hornets as you attend an ESU football game!

*The September 19 game will have a different schedule due to this date being Family Day

October 17 & November 7

• 9:30 a.m. – Check-in at Memorial Union
• 9:45 a.m. – Admissions Presentation
• 10:00 a.m. – Campus Tour
• 11:30 a.m. – Tailgate Experience
• 12:30 p.m. – Enter the Stadium
• 1:00 p.m. – ESU Football Kickoff

September 19

• 12:30 p.m. – Check-in at Memorial Union 
• 12:45 p.m. – Admissions Welcome 
• 1:00 p.m. – Campus/Residence Hall Tours
  *Visitors will walk through all 3 Residence Halls during the tour
• 2:30 p.m. – Tailgate Experience 
• 3:30 p.m. – Enter the Stadium 
• 4:00 p.m. – ESU Football Kickoff 

Per NCAA regulations, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions cannot set up appointments with coaches for potential recruits. However, we are allowed to provide the coach’s contact information for you to set up an appointment during your visit.
