For students majoring in health care

Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation Health Care Scholarship

Encouraging Excellence and Innovation is the focus of the Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation’s annual scholarship.

Awards are given in the following categories:

  • Nursing: undergraduate students in nursing
  • Graduate: graduate level students in any health care discipline
  • Health care: undergraduate students in non-nursing health care fields
  • Health Care Administration: students in health care administration
  • Human Resources: students in hospital human resource related fields

In the 15th Annual Health Care Scholarship Program, KHERF partnered with KHHRA and KAHCE to provide 32 scholarships totaling $24,000. The amount awarded varies each year.

Any individual who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited Kansas school for health care is invited to apply. Preference will be given to current hospital employees, particularly those working in a hospital that is licensed for 25 or fewer acute beds.

Scholarship applications are only accepted electronically. Set up an account and begin your application. The application can be saved at certain points, so you do not have to complete it all at one time.

It is preferable to upload documents in PDF format, although most common formats will be accepted.
