Information for Parents & Family
Sending a loved one off to college can be difficult as well as exciting. There are a lot of new experiences and fantastic opportunities available to your student. You care about them and want them to do well. We also want them to do well and develop into successful people. We can work together to help you help your student. The biggest thing that you can do to help your student is to refer them to University staff. We have professional experience with strategies to help residents with concerns or issues they may be dealing with. Residential Life staff are a resource for your student and can help if they communicate with us. In addition, we help residents learn about opportunities across campus and within the community that can help them create a fantastic college experience. There are so many struggles and opportunities that do not exist outside of the college environment and we can help your student take advantage of those opportunities while helping them navigate any struggles.
