STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES
**We are now in our NEW location**
Health Services is now located in the Student Wellness Center, second floor South Morse Hall (enter via the west side ramp)
Any student currently enrolled for the semester at Emporia State University, who has paid full-time student fees (campus privilege fees), is eligible for basic health services. Families of students are not eligible to use Student Health Services but can find treatment on a sliding fee scale at the local Public Health Department (Flint Hills Community Health Center) nearby (See address in the bar on the right).
The Student Health Fee for 2011-2012 is $68.79 per semester for full time students and $10.29 per credit hour for part-time students. Students paying part-time fees will pay $10 per office visit, students paying no health fee (online only, etc) will pay $25 per office visit. Students needing other services or procedures (i.e., laboratory tests, medications, some medical supplies or pap smears) will be assessed a charge which is customarily much less than the community rate. If you have questions about the cost of a particular service, please call 620-341-5222 for information. During this school year, we will begin the process of filing health insurance claims for these services so please bring your health insurance card (or a copy of it) with you to your appointments.
Student Health records are kept strictly confidential. No medical information is released without written consent from the student or a court order/subpoena. Exceptions to this may include emergencies or matters of public health as allowed by law.
