Nurse camp

Give your student a hands-on introduction to the world of healthcare at Emporia State University’s Nursing Camp! This interactive experience introduces participants to nursing fundamentals, basic CPR, first aid and more in a fun, engaging environment. Led by ESU faculty and staff in the state-of-the-art Nursing and Wellness Building, students will explore real-world skills, and discover what a future in healthcare could look like.

A registration form must be completed for each child who plans to attend the ESU Nursing Camp. Registration must be completed prior to May 13, 2026. This event is free of charge.

The camp will take place on Wednesday, May 27, at ESU's Nursing and Student Wellness Building, 1400 Morse Drive.

Session 1 (9:00 to 11:30) for incoming 6-8th graders. These future nurses can be dropped off between 8:30 and 9 am.

Session 2 (1:00-3:30) for incoming 9-12th graders. These future nurses can be dropped off between 12:30 and 1 pm.

Please have your child bring a water bottle with their name. A small snack will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact nursing@emporia.edu.
