Lodging Accommodations

Emporia has a variety of motels and bed-and-breakfast inns. Phone numbers and addresses can be found from Emporia's Convention & Visitors Bureau at: https://visitemporia.com/stay/.

Graduation Photos

GradImages will be providing a candid photography service at Commencement. Each graduate will have their picture taken at the moment they receive the diploma. A full color proof will then be mailed directly to the graduate's residence. There is no obligation or charge for shooting these pictures, and since all graduates receiving diploma covers will be photographed, there is no need to contact GradImages prior to the graduation.

GradImages encourage students to preregister their e-mail addresses and also those of up to six family members. This way, once the photographs become available for ordering and viewing, the company will automatically notify those who have registered. Their website is http://www.gradimages.com/Register.cfm.

Accommodations for Persons with Disabilities

If you are a person with a disability and require accommodations to participate in this event, please contact Student Accessibility and Support Services (SASS) at Emporia State University during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). To help ensure arrangements can be made, we encourage requests to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Accessible seating will be available within the venue, and interpreters will be positioned on stage during the event."
