SAC game wins award at National Academic Advising Conference

At Emporia State
University, we believe that from the beginning of your college
life you should work with faculty to develop your educational
plan, choose your classes, and solve problems.
If you have already chosen a major, you will work with a faculty member from
that academic area. If you have not yet made a decision, you will work with
faculty who can help you choose appropriate classes as you begin to work toward
choosing a major and a career. The Advising Center gives you easy access to
faculty from all academic areas so you can visit with an appropriate person
to get information about any majors you are considering.
If you have questions that the faculty here can help you answer, please use
the "ask an advisor" form and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

The Student Advising Center provides academic advising and
assistance that helps freshmen and undeclared students make
a satisfactory transition to college life. We also help students
to learn to set personal and academic goals and to develop
strategies for achieving those goals. Students are invited
to meet with advisors at least twice a semester, once for
an "advising session" and
then later to pre-enroll.
