Join Emporia State University for an out-of-this-world event when students have live contact with the International Space Station using amateur radio.

In partnership with Amateur Radio on the International Space Station and the local Emporia Amateur Radio Society, area middle and high school students will ask questions of European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot as she orbits more than 250 miles above the Earth.

Slides and remarks will precede the contact event.

The livestream begins at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8.
