Graduate STEM Certificate

New online graduate certificate program in Elementary STEM Education now offered by Emporia State University

Robots and drones are just the beginning. If you want to bring hands-on, engaging STEM instruction into your elementary classroom, while at the same time increasing your own content knowledge, consider our new certificate program. This 12-hour program is for classroom teachers and teacher leaders who desire enhanced knowledge of STEM education in elementary and middle schools and is appropriate for educators who already have a master’s degree or those who have not yet begun a master’s program.

  • Fully online, 12-hour program with entry points each semester (fall, spring, summer)
  • Can be completed in three or four semesters
  • Make connections with educators across the state and nation
  • Credits may be applied toward graduate degree programs in various departments of The Teachers College pending advisor approval

EL726: Elementary Engineering and Robotics - 3 hours

EL784: Trends in Elementary STEM Education - 3 hours

EL802: Best Practice in Elementary Mathematics - 3 hours

EL803: Best Practice in Elementary Science - 3 hours
