Verifications
Verifications are completed online. To order a verification, please call 620-341-5419 or email recordsroom@emporia.edu.
The ESU Academic Records Office provides the following verifications:
- Current enrollment verifications for third parties, such as health insurance or student loan companies
- GPA verifications for good student discounts (with written permission from student)
- Past attendance verifications
- Degree verification is provided by the National Student Clearinghouse www.degreeverify.org
Current Enrollment Verifications
Verifications of current enrollment show date issued, student name, and enrollment information by semester. Enrollment information includes beginning and ending dates of the semester and whether the student was a full-time, half-time, or less than half-time student by dates.
Verification of enrollment may also be made in person at the Academic Records Office, Plumb Hall, Room 108D, by phone at 620/341-5419, or in writing to:

The information needed for the verification request is the student's name, ESU ID (If known), date of birth, semester date to verify, and the full address where the verification is to be sent.
GPA Verifications
Verifications of GPA information to a third party require a signed authorization from the student.
Past Attendance and Degree Verifications
ESU has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide attendance and degree verifications. The National Student Clearinghouse may be contacted at:
