- Admission and Degree Requirements
Students seeking the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree must have:
1) A bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree from a regionally accredited institution and from a national nursing accrediting organization (e.g., ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA).
2) A current unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license. See Admission Policies for more information.
3) A grade point average no less than 2.5 in the last 60 hours of study or an overall grade point average no less than 3.0 for a completed master’s degree. If a completed master’s degree transcript is submitted for admission, the student MUST also submit an official copy of their bachelor’s degree transcript.
