of HPER

The Department of HPER shares Emporia State University's vision to provide leadership in quality instruction, related scholarship and service in a student-centered environment. The faculty and students in HPER are dedicated to fostering a dynamic community of lifelong learners, movers and leaders. The Department is committed to the creation, enhancement, and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of health education, health promotion, athletic training, physical education and recreation. We strive to encourage academic excellence through all of our programs in HPER.
