Summer Arts Camp 2025

Join ESU's Summer Arts Camp!
Hosted by the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Emporia State University

Who: Rising 6th–8th grade students
When: Tuesday, July 8 – Friday, July 11, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily
Where: King Hall Lobby, Emporia State University
Theme: Space!

Campers will explore visual art, music, and theatre through a fun, space-themed experience. Each day includes rotating sessions in all three areas, with engaging, hands-on activities led by ESU faculty and students.

Cost: $150 per camper (Scholarships are available for families with financial need—please indicate interest in the form below.)

Included with Registration:

  • Camp T-shirt
  • Art supplies
  • Daily snacks and water

Please bring: A sack lunch each day

What to Expect:

  • Daily rotation of art, music, and theatre sessions
  • On-campus activities, with visits to other locations such as Beach Hall (Music) and the ESU Planetarium
  • A final showcase featuring a performance and gallery exhibition on Friday, July 11 at 4:00 PM in King Hall
  • Stick around after the show for the Emporia First Friday Art Walk from 5:00–8:00 PM
