English and Math students and faculty celebrated pi day together on March 20, 2019, by reading pi poetry they had written themselves for each other. They also celebrated the number by eating some pie too.

A retirement reception was held for Drs. Joe & Betsy Yanik on March 23, 2019, at Sauder Alumni Center. About 90 people attended the event. A department reunion was held on the same day and included a departmental tour and lock box challenge.
