Graduate School

Welcome to the ESU Graduate School. ESU offers twenty-six master’s degrees with thirty-three different concentrations, one education specialist degree, the Ph.D. from the School of Library and Information Management, eight certificate programs. Ten of the master’s degree programs are offered entirely on-line.

Alumni Profile - Max McCoy

Max McCoy was awarded his Master of Arts in English from Emporia State University in May, 1993.  He received the Outstanding Master’s Alumnus Award from Emporia State University in 2005.  Max is a native Kansan and currently an assistant professor of journalism at Emporia State University.  He is also an award-winning journalist and novelist, investigative reporter, screenwriter, and independent film maker... more
