Effective June 1, 2025, the Kansas SBDC regional office at Emporia State University is closed.

Moving forward, small businesses and entrepreneurs in the region can continue receiving Kansas SBDC support through the following service area updates:

• Lyon and Osage counties – now served by the University of Kansas SBDC
• Morris County – now served by the Washburn University SBDC
• Greenwood and Coffey counties – now served by the Pittsburg State University SBDC
• Chase and Marion counties – now served by the Wichita State University SBDC
