Each year, the Choir Dinner event generates thousands of dollars, providing financial assistance for many students in paying fees for the various tours the choirs go on. With your help, the Choir Department will be able to continue to provide a high-quality music education and once-in-a-lifetime- opportunities for it’s students. This year, the choir will be touring to Washington, D.C. to participate in the “We Have A Dream” Concert Series commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

Choir Dinner Concert: “And the Tony Award Goes To…”

• Webb Hall – Memorial Union

This year’s event will feature entertainment by the A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers as well as various soloists and ensembles all from the choral program. Guests will enjoy a three course, gourmet meal served by the students in the program. Walk the red carpet when you arrive and get your picture taken by the “paparazzi.” The evening will feature show-stopping, Tony Award winning tunes, so this is a can’t-miss event!

Dinner Options

Option 1

Apple Cider Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Rosemary, orange, and ginger pork tenderloin poached in apple cider broth and topped with a caramelized onion demi-glace sauce. Served with charred Brussels sprouts and smashed sweet potatoes.

Crème Brûlée for dessert

Option 2

Classic Roasted Turkey Breast

Lean and juicy breast of turkey, roasted with garlic, pepper, and salt and topped with a creamy mushroom sauce. Served with sauteed haricot verts and smashed sweet potatoes.

Option 3 (Vegan friendly)

Ginger Miso Tofu

Tofu seared with ginger, miso, mirin, green onions, and red chile. Served with sesame lemongrass jasmine rice and grilled broccolini.

Tropical Mojito Fruit Salad for dessert.

Tickets to the Choir Dinner Concert can be purchased online via the link below as pre-sale only. All sales are final, and no entrée exchanges are allowed. Sales close on Wednesday, November 16th.
