As a Bachelor of Science in Education Mathematics or Science major, you will receive scholarships, mentoring, internship and community-building opportunities through the SMaRT KS 21 program.
HIGHLIGHTS OF SMART KS 21
- For 2024-2025, over $230,000 in scholarships were awarded to BSE mathematics and science students.
- SMART KS 21 helps limit the burden of student debt for future math and science teachers, helping ESU grads start their teaching careers without having to plan for loan repayments!
- SMART KS 21 helps provide access to the incredible teacher preparation programs at ESU.
- You will practice your educator-in-training skills through internships funded by SMART KS 21.
- Generous scholarships are awarded during your student teaching (also referred to as Phase II) semester to offset the loss of income while you are training to become a teacher.
- You receive ongoing support by joining a community of math and science educators.
