With ESU Nursing's commitment and support you CAN achieve your goal. You will be the focus of the MSN program, receiving individual support from caring, connected, experienced nursing faculty. Both tracks offer six course start dates throughout the year, and the course duration is seven weeks per course, allowing the degree to be completed quickly.

Nurse Manager and Leader Track
Students will complete 15 hours of core graduate nursing courses and 18 hours of specialty-specific courses in nurse manager and leader track. Graduates will be prepared to serve in a variety of administrative and management roles in nursing and health care organizations (e.g., nurse managers, nurse administrators, Directors, VP Nursing Services, Case Managers, Care Coordinators, Chief Nursing officers, Chief Quality Officers, Directors of Nursing, and many more). Rural nursing management is emphasized. Graduates will be prepared to sit for board certification in nursing management/administration.
Nurse Educator Track
Students will complete 15 hours of core graduate nursing courses and 18 hours of specialty-specific courses to prepare them as nurse educators. Graduates will be prepared to serve in a variety of nursing education roles in nursing programs and health care organizations. Examples include: roles as nursing professors, nursing faculty, nursing coaches and nurse educators. Rural nursing/healthcare education is emphasized. Graduates will be prepared to sit for board certification as a nurse educator.
