Entering the giveaway is easy: just schedule your enrollment appointment with your academic advisor and you're entered into the drawing. Drawings will take place each week for ten weeks, and include everyone who has registered so far, so schedule early for the best chance to win!

FAQs for enrollment incentives

How do I enter the $1,000 enrollment drawing?

Download the Navigate360Student app from your mobile device app store and complete the following steps:

  • Search for Emporia State University in the institution search box.
  • Log in using your ESU Hornet Login.
  • Complete the intake survey to set up your profile.
  • Click the purple Appointments icon on the left navigation menu and select the type, date, time and location for your meeting.

Do I have to complete my enrollment before the drawing date to be eligible?

No, you just have to schedule an appointment for enrollment.

Are these scholarships transferrable outside ESU?

No, these scholarships are only for ESU for the fall 2026.

How will the application scholarship be drawn?

By Tuesday each week during the ten-week period, any student who has scheduled an enrollment appointment with their advisor will be put into a drawing and chosen at random. One scholarship will be awarded each week beginning March 31 and continue through June 2 for the students who have signed up for enrollment.

How will the enrollment scholarship be drawn?

Any student who has scheduled an enrollment appointment before each draw will be put into the pool and chosen at random.

If I’m awarded an enrollment scholarship, but later decide not to attend ESU, what happens to that money?

The scholarship money will be put back into the pool for other students.

If I’m awarded an enrollment scholarship, but disenroll from ESU (withdraw from classes) after the semester begins, what happens to that money?

If you withdraw from the University before the 10th day of classes, the scholarship would also be withdrawn from your student account.

If I’m awarded an enrollment scholarship, when/how do I receive the money? How does the actual award distribution work?

Winners will be communicated to financial aid. This will be posted in your student account and distributed with the rest of your financial aid awards.

If I only enroll for online or remote classes, will I still be eligible?

Yes, any undergraduate, full-time, domestic student is eligible.

If I only enroll part-time (less than 12 credit hours in fall 2025), will I still be eligible?

No, only undergraduate, full-time, domestic students are eligible.

In addition to the required conditions for award eligibility, the following notices and disclaimers apply to the Enrollment Giveaway (collectively, the “Giveaway Drawings”). The Giveaway Drawings awards are randomized and are based on qualifying criteria, which are not performance or need based. No purchase is necessary. The University shall not be responsible for, nor indemnify an award recipient for, any federal, state, or local taxes which may be imposed or levied as a result of receiving a Giveaway Drawings award. While the University is subject to the Kansas Open Records Act (K.S.A. 45-215, et seq), any student education records the University receives as a result of the Giveaway Drawings may not be publicly disclosed pursuant to FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g).
