Dr. Amanda Lickteig earned her Ph.D. from Kansas State University in Curriculum and Instruction. Before joining the Department of School Leadership/Middle and Secondary Teacher Education in 2015, she was responsible for the instruction and supervision of secondary teacher education students at Kansas State. Dr. Lickteig previously taught language arts at Fort Riley Middle School in USD 475 from 2007-2011. She is a member of Association of Teacher Educators, International Literacy Association and Phi Delta Kappa. In 2019, Excellence in Instruction Award from The Teachers College.
