BSE - Physical Education

Program description

The Bachelor of Science in Education program is designed primarily to prepare a student for PreK-12 grade teaching in the discipline of physical education. Students in this program are encouraged to provide service to society, apply interdisciplinary scholarly knowledge, engage in effective practice, respond to uncertainty and change, rely on self-reflection, and belong to a professional community.

Throughout the program, the student majors are provided with abundant hands-on experiences teaching at the PreK-12 levels. The final teaching experience is during the final semester when they enter student teaching.
