Elementary Education Distance Partnership Programs
Emporia State University has partnership programs with Butler Community College, Johnson County Community College (Overland Park, KS), and Kansas City Kansas Community College, allowing students to complete the Elementary Education program without relocating.
Students complete the first two years of general education and preparatory education courses through a community college partner. Students then complete the final two years through Emporia State University.
During the first of these two years, courses are conveniently offered in the evenings or online, suited for individuals who are balancing school, life, and work.
During the second of these two years, individuals will complete a year-long internship in ESU’s award-winning Professional Development Schools.
