Driver Education Certificate
Driver education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices to insure personal safety to self and others on the road.
Emporia State University is the only Kansas school offering the Driver Education Certification program. Upon completion of the program, certificates are issued by the Kansas Department of Education.

There is a one-time $25 application fee.
Contact Emporia State University's Distance Education office at 620-341-5385 or Apply Online. Complete a Graduate School application for the First-time Licensure / Non-Degree. Submit your unofficial transcripts showing your bachelor's degree to our Graduate School at email@example.com.
The Kansas Curricular Standards for Driver Education are available here. The standards apply to in-car proficiency indicators of the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association.
