Work Schedule: [Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun] - Typically between 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours.
Job Duties: The Union Services Student Assistant will provide dynamic customer service for patrons who are obtaining IDs, postage, tickets and other products as well as being involved in supporting varied events with AV needs including, but not limited to: meetings, lectures, conferences, performances, and weddings. The position will involve data entry accuracy, cash handling, familiarity with computers and software, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Minimum Qualifications: This individual will need to enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment. The position requires excellent customer service, dependability, the ability to troubleshoot technical problems, and remain professional under pressure. Experience with audio and video equipment, running live sound, and basic computer troubleshooting experience is preferred. Along with previous cash handling experience
Special Comments: Background check will be required.
May include evenings and weekends. Students must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or better to be eligible for employment. A background check is required. Dress code observed.
