|Work Schedule:||[Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri] - 20 hours per week (possibly more during summer and breaks)|
|Job Duties:||The Student Office Assistant (SOA) is an integral member of the Residential Life team serving as a representative of Residential Life and Emporia State University. This is a customer service focused position. The SOA performs basic administrative functions such as data entry, typing, filing, handling contract payments, and answering phones. Student Office Assistants are expected to demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and a desire to learn new skills. The SOA must possess strengths in leadership, communication, and organization. This position requires flexibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to assume a variety of roles. This is an academic year employment opportunity for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters with summer employment a possibility; employment may begin as early as April 2018 to facilitate new staff transition.|
|Minimum Qualifications:||Selected candidates must be enrolled in fall courses at Emporia State University, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and successfully completed a mandatory background check.|
Background check will be required.
