Work Schedule: [Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri] - between 8am-5pm, some evenings/weekends
Job Duties: Coordinators are responsible for recruiting students to join community service efforts and connecting students with service opportunities. Coordinators communicate with various campus and community partners to develop and implement programs. This could include existing Community Hornet programs such as GIVE (Getting Involved in Volunteering in Emporia), Seven Days of Service, and Corky’s Cupboard. It may also include various other projects and events on and off the ESU campus. Coordinators often serve as the primary planner, marketer, and facilitator of their projects, while also assisting team members with concurrent events.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Coordinators must possess good written and oral communication skills, work effectively with other students and professional staff members, and demonstrate a commitment to service. We are looking for students who will be problem-solvers, self-starters, and role models to their peers.
