Job Duties: Primary duty is to assist with all aspects of public service in the Special Collections and Archives. This includes welcoming and registering patrons, assisting with research and reference questions, aiding with the design and installation of exhibits, helping with educational programs, processing of archival collections, and other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: This position requires the ability to follow precise instructions, attention to detail, careful handling of archival materials, and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Work requires considerable physical exertion to retrieve/replace materials at heights up to 6' and to move materials, unassisted, up to 40 pounds in weight.
