  • Dozie earned his master’s degree in clinical counseling with a concentration in addiction counseling from Emporia State University.Dozie, a former football player at ESU now serves as the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention coordinator. Dozie has experience providing substance use counseling with an emphasis in co-occurring disorders to adolescents and adults. He is passionate about working with ESU students and student athletes, providing mental health counseling to those who may be experiencing depression, difficulty adjusting to college, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties,post-traumatic stress disorder or other mental health needs. Dozie, is trained in basic Accelerated Resolution Treatment an evidenced based treatment for trauma disorders. His practice is influenced heavily by the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model.
