Diversity + Inclusion Student Programs

Champions for diversity, equity and inclusion

Diversity + Inclusion Programming

The Office of Diversity Student Programs is excited to welcome you to Emporia State University. Whether you are a prospective student, current student or alumni, we invite you to participate in the numerous opportunities provided through our office. We provide educational and social programs throughout the year that support the mission and strategic plan of Emporia State. These programs include diversity training and development programs, leadership programs, cultural celebrations, and social activities and events.

In the Office of Diversity Student Programs, we foster an environment that is inclusive and supportive of students from marginalized backgrounds. It is our duty to build an inclusive community for all students and provide a safe space for cross cultural dialogue and engagement. We are passionate about diversity and social justice through actively working to challenge systems and structures that perpetuate inequities.

Making Emporia State University a diverse and inclusive community does not end or stop with us, but it is the work and support of our entire community. Therefore, we encourage everyone to take a participate in some of the unique and powerful programs we have to offer.

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others? – Martin Luther King, Jr.
