Instructions for Producing A Degree Evaluation Report

  • Sign in to Buzz In and click the Academic Life Tab
  • In the Student Self Service Links channel, click Student Records.
  • Click Degree Evaluation (CAPP)
  • Click Generate New Evaluation OR
  • Click Previous Evaluations on the lower part of the screen
  • Click the evaluation submitted and the date and time listed on the Degree Evaluation Summary.

Note: there are three views to select.

General Requirements-lists the courses taken in each area but will not list information on outstanding requirements.

Detail Requirements- view offers more information than the General Requirements view.  This is the suggested view.

Additional Information- gives information on current enrollment, repeat courses and other information on courses not used in a particular area.

To generate an updated degree evaluation follow the first three steps listed above then click Generate Evaluation and follow the screen instructions.  When an evaluation is generated it will remain on the Previous Evaluation list until it is deleted by selecting the box to the right.  You will only be able to delete evaluations you have generated.

IMPORTANT:  The Expected Graduation Date is a Banner generated date.  It may or may not correspond with your expected graduation date and DOES NOT verify that you have submitted an Application for Degree.

Deadlines for degree application are as follows:

October 15 - Students expecting to receive degrees in December the following year

February 15 - Applications for May the following year.

June 15 – Applications for August of the following year.

Applications are required for each major and/or minor if in different departments.
