The purpose of the supervised, full time internship for one academic year is to allow the intern to further develop their competencies as a practicing school psychologist and to demonstrate appropriate ethical and professional standards as a school psychologist. The internship experience should include all levels of education, early childhood through secondary. The setting should provide a full range of services and education of both exceptional and general education children. A school setting must provide at least 50% of the approved field experience.
