The public is invited to join the Emporia State University campus community, donors and state leaders at the groundbreaking for the new 32,000-square-foot Nursing + Student Wellness building. This landmark event begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24.

April 19, 2024: High school junior and seniors who want a Jump Start on their college careers now have an option to take college classes on the Emporia State University campus for just $21 per credit hour. This scholarship offering to our regional high school students is another example of the university’s commitment to reduce costs for students and their families.

Student gamers have the opportunity to get hands-on experience, access to coaches and players and discover how their enthusiasm for gaming can lead to building a career by taking part in upcoming events hosted by Emporia State University Esports.

Outreach initiatives take center stage as Emporia State University offers a month full of exploration, learning and fun. Participants can enjoy a variety of activities including a planetarium show, science story time, a bilingual event and an Earth Day celebration.
