Basic Adulting 101: Welcome to Adulthood Program Series

If the thought of fending for yourself has you worried, you're not alone. The  Emporia Public Library and the ESU William Allen White Library present: Basic Adulting 101, a series of workshops designed to help you navigate the world as a young or new adult. Each workshop consists of a meet and greet with community partners, a few short demonstrations or presentations, and a hands-on activity.

Location: ESU Libraries and Archives Learning Commons

Renting your first apartment? Have questions about car insurance? Emporia State and Emporia Public Library present the next workshop in a new series focused on helping new adults navigate life on their own. This month, learn about renting, tenant law, insurance, and how to care for your first home away from home! There will also be a raffle held for a home toolkit!

Location: ESU Memorial Union Preston Family Room

There's nothing scarier than an emergency situation. Do you know what to do in case of fire, tornado, or medical emergency? Form your plan this month with local law enforcement and health care representatives. Also enter your name in the raffle to win a 115 piece first aid kit and other goodies!
