Open Enrollment for Health Insurance
Open enrollment is in November, but quickly approaching. During November, all employees will need to once again select what insurance options they would like for the 2017 plan year. During the week of September 26, 2016, the State Employee Health Plan will post the open enrollment materials for the 2017 plan year at www.kdheks.gov/hcf/sehp.htm. Start earning points toward a discount on your health insurance premiums for the 2017 plan year. Be sure to complete your 30 HealthQuest points by November 15, 2016. You can check your current points total, and earn more points by using your email address to access the HealthQuest Portal. More information about HealthQuest can be found by clicking on the Medical section of our Employee Benefits page, or through the monthly news letters at http://www.kdheks.gov/hcf/healthquest/documents.htm.
Dependent and spouse Tuition Waiver applications are due by the first day of the enrolled class for the Summer 2016 semester. The student must be enrolled in at least one class prior to starting the application, and the E# for the employee and student will also be required.
Employee Tuition Assistance applications for the Fall 2016 semester are due Friday, July 29 by 5pm. The employee must be enrolled in at least one class prior to starting the application.
